RICHMOND – For the second year, local builder Mark Wilds of Mark Wilds Energy Homes/TMW Construction was recognized by the Louisville Gas and Electric (LG&E) and Kentucky Utilities (KU) Energy Star New Homes Program for excellence in energy efficiency at the Midwest Energy Star Conference.
TMW Construction was honored for building the most single and multi-single family homes which exceed code by an additional 25 percent efficiency in the KU service territory in 2010. This award recognizes the important contribution Mark Wilds Energy Homes/TMW Construction has made to energy-efficient construction and environmental protection by building more than 25 homes last year in the Richmond area. Every genuine Mark Wilds Energy Home has a permanent logo stamped in the concrete floor of the garage and an engraved metal plate affixed to the electrical panel that says:

This assurance comes literally written in stone with the Mark Wilds Energy Home label stamped into the corner of the garage floor. You may find a home that has these features without this stamp, but you won’t find this stamp in a home without these features.
